The times of laidback and relaxing are over! Peter, Bartmann and Bart are full-on working on the sixth edition of Speedfest the 10th of December at the Klokgebouw Eindhoven. Not only Speedfest is feeding their insomnia, but also their new compilation CD FIFTYSOMESUPERHITS (58 tracks on 2 CD’s!) which will be released on Speedfest.

There will be more great news on Speedfest! According to the unquestionable calculations this Speedfest will have the millionth visitor since their first gig, 15 years ago. Peter Pan Speedrock-frontman Peter van Elderen is very excited over this remarkable fact: “Our manager/booker Bert van Aefst at SOZ Concerts is keeping score since day one. He recently added up all shows (over 1600!) and all visitors. With the expected audience for our three German shows in the next three days, it seems Speedfest can officially welcome the millionth visitor.”

For this calculation not only the audience of the club shows is included, but of course the people who attended festivals as well. Peter Pan Speedrock since played at many major festivals including Pinkpop, Lowlands, Pukkelpop, With Full Force, Roskilde, 24 Heure Le Mans, Sjock and so on. Peter: ”Exactly. But wait! Check this out. The band was founded in 1996, fifteen years ago. One million visitors divided by fifteen years … 66,666.66 visitors each year! The work of the devil! “
