The End of the Shavers: Rock&Roll till the end!!

September 2006, the Shavers will make their final episode of chapter in Dutch Rock&Roll.
The Shavers still have many dreams to chase, but the fysical shape of Johannes doesn’t match the demanding rock&roll life. His orthopedic surgeon has summoned to new medical surgeries, as his rheumatism on several parts of his body aggrevates. However, Johannes will-power is stronger than these inconveniences and it makes his blood thicker than water: these surgeries will be postponed to October next year and will be predecessed by a blasting farewell tour for the fans.

Johannes de Boom, musician by coincidence since the late nineties, is a remarkable artist in the Dutch scene, with his impressive tattood body and low voice. During his life, Art has been a life-elixer to him, being a painter, poet, author and musician, but above all, a pure hedonist. Concerning this, he has found perfect kindred spirits in Cock and Theo de Jong, which brought years of pleasure, joy and energy on the stages. With this image in mind, 2006 will be one long rock&roll-orgy, the final episode of the compelling Shavers-history.
